Rumors or rather indiscretions report that the Beta 1 version of Windows 7 will be ready and available to testers by the end of the year.
Work on Windows7 progressing well and Microsoft provides two appointments that could bring new. If we think the Professional Developer Conference (PDC) scheduled for late October and the Windows Hardware Engineering Conference (WinHEC) to be held in early November.
Mary Jo Foley, a journalist close to the sphere Microsoft, said he was not sure that Microsoft refers to Windows 7 when these two appointments, but sources would have given Windows 7 that could arrive in the Beta mid-December.
Some lucky ones have already put their hands on early versions of the new Microsoft operating system, in particular on the two versions "M" (Milestone), the M1 and M2. The Beta 1 which will be only the M3 should be ready during the second half of December.
We wondered whether a period of one year from the date of the first beta version should be sufficient to achieve the final product, with a launch in 2009 and early 2010 as originally planned.
